Chidi Opara, a 300-level student of the Imo State University (IMSU), was shot dead by a suspected cult member by around 10:00pm on Wednesday, after he had a face off with him at Bishop Court Area (IMSU backgate) of the school.

The cultist allegedly tried snatching the 24-year-old Economics student’s phone, but after resisting, he got shot – the body of the deceased has been deposited in the mortuary, as Police are already conducting an investigation into the murder case.
