Eric Arubayi is dead.

According to Punch, the gospel artiste passed on yesterday at the Delta State Teaching Hospital after battling an unstated illness. However, his family is yet to make an official statement.

Arubayi came to the spotlight following his appearance on 2007 West African Idols, where he emerged the runner-up. Some of his hit songs the House On The Rock dropped include ‘Most High’ and ‘Igwe’.

Eric Arubayi and his wife, Chinonso who recently celebrated their 3rd wedding anniversary, have a son together.
